Welcome to the Bible Baptist Shepherd School web-site. Our school was started in 1965. It was the first Baptist School in the Four Corners Area. It was started to provide an education that allows Biblical principles to be taught along with the other subjects. Dr. Don Corley and his wife Berta Corley started the school in a converted one bedroom home that was located on their current property. Today the school has over 20,000 square feet with a gym and playground. The school offers grade levels K-12 as well as college prep classes. The high school sports program includes girls' volleyball in the fall; basketball is provided for both boys and girls during the winter. The Girls Volleyball Team was the State Champions in the NMCCA Association.
Our philosophy is to have your child exposed to God's Word and teaching while learning the other required subjects. We also believe the parents must be involved in their children's lives. Christian schools have often become a "reform schools". We are not a reform school. In today's society, children are the target of so many evils. We hope to help build good character and responsibility into your child's life.
